Learners
At King of Kings Lutheran School, our curriculum is built on a tradition of academic excellence rooted in one of the nation’s oldest and most respected Christian school systems, with a long-standing presence serving families in Maitland, Winter Park, and the greater Orlando area.
From as early as age three and four, our students experience a rich, developmentally appropriate program that blends proven early childhood frameworks like Kaymbu and COR Advantage with Accelerated Learning, strong STEM instruction, and purposeful use of technology alongside traditional teaching methods.
Our highly qualified teachers collaborate to provide individualized instruction, monitor student progress through data-driven assessment, and communicate frequently with families—ensuring every child is known, supported, and challenged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

At King of Kings Lutheran School, our curriculum is guided by both proven teaching practices and meaningful academic data. Serving families in Maitland, Winter Park, and the greater Orlando area, we use nationally norm-referenced benchmark assessments four times per year to monitor student progress in math, reading, language, and science. These checkpoints allow our teachers to personalize instruction, provide targeted support, and challenge students who are ready to move ahead.
We believe one test never tells the whole story.
By measuring growth from the beginning of the year through fall, winter, and spring, our faculty can track progress over time and adjust instruction to meet each student’s needs. The result is a balanced, faith-based, academically strong program where students are known, supported, and consistently challenged to grow—academically, socially, and spiritually.
